Don Lawrence is a Shareholder of the Firm and currently serves as CEO. In addition, Don oversees the Business and Personal Services practice areas.  He is admitted to appear before all Michigan state and federal courts.  Don graduated from Michigan State University (B.A., 1965) and cum laude from Wayne State University (J.D., 1968).  He maintains an “AV” legal ability rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating attainable.

Don has published many articles and presented topics of legal interest at local and statewide legal seminars.  He is a member of numerous local, state and national professional associations.  In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for DFCU Financial, Michigan’s largest full-service credit union, and the Delta Side Business Association, and is a trustee of the John and Elizabeth Whitely Foundation.

Don is a past president of the Lansing-Waverly Rotary Club and a current member of the Rotary Club of Lansing.  He is a member and past chairman of the Delta Governmental Relations Committee of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Don has extensive experience in business and commercial transactions, estate planning and probate, and tax matters.  He and his wife, Sally, live in Lansing.
