Mark continues to practice in the area of general litigation while maintaining his practice in corporate law, labor and employment law and information technology. Currently, he represents municipalities, counties, Drain Commissioners and transit authorities in a wide variety of complex matters, including general litigation, flooding litigation, condemnation, labor negotiations and disputes, employment law, ordinance enforcement, millage language review, and policy review and revision. He currently represents a wide variety of businesses in commercial litigation, and labor and employment law, as well as general corporate law. Mark's litigation experience and educational background make him uniquely qualified to counsel clients concerning electronic discovery, best practices in use of e-mail and the Internet, best practices in handling confidential information, and in various aspects of Intellectual Property Law, including trademarks and service marks. He also has experience before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Michigan. Mark has presented at conferences and seminars with respect to numerous laws and law related topics. He is a member of the State Bars of Illinois and Michigan. Mark is also a member of various community groups, including the Haslett Beautification Association for which he provides pro bono legal services, and is an active participant in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the National Kidney Foundation. Mark and his wife Catherine enjoy traveling and hiking and live in Haslett with their two children.
