Matt represents public entities and provides legal advice and litigation services on a variety of municipal issues. He attends and speaks at public meetings and hearings, and provides seminars for the Firm’s clients on various public sector issues including the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. He has been called upon by the Michigan Municipal League to moderate seminars and has contributed articles to the Michigan Municipal League magazine entitled “The Review”. Matt has appeared on local news channels and in various articles pertaining to the issues confronting Municipalities by the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. Prior to attending Law School, Matt worked in the Law Department of NCR, a Fortune 500 Company. He applies the experience gained while working at NCR and his courtroom experience in the Firm’s litigation practice. Matt represents businesses and business owners on complex litigation issues. He assists business clients in obtaining liquor licenses, complex real estate litigation, debt collection, labor disputes, and other litigation related matters. Matt also has a criminal defense practice representing felony and misdemeanor clients in District and Circuit Courts.
Matt provides legal services in the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation, drain and municipal law, and criminal law. He lives in Delta Township with his wife, Shanna, and their family. Bar Associations:
