Besides being an accomplished trial advocate, Mike has extensive experience in Michigan state and federal appellate courts. A former Prehearing Attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and Chief Appellate Counsel for the Ingham County Prosecuting Attorneys office, Mike is a current member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society and Advocates Guild. He has frequently appeared as a lecturer, trainer and consultant with respect to numerous law and law related topics. Mike graduated magna cum laude from Central Michigan University in 1970 and cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1976. He joined The Hubbard Law Firm in 1980 and serves on the Firm's Board of Directors. Mike specializes in land use, drain and municipal law and has appeared as lead counsel in a variety of cases involving a wide range of subject matters. Mike and his wife Gina are the proud parents of eight adult children and, not surprisingly, now have an ever-growing number of grandchildren. They enjoy nature, including frequent visits to Mexico.
