Peter Teholiz is a Shareholder of the Firm. Peter entered the practice of law in 1982 and is admitted to appear before all Michigan state and federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan (B.S., 1979) and magna cum laude from Indiana University with his J.D. in 1982, Order of the Coif.  He maintains an "AV" legal ability rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating attainable.

Peter has published numerous articles and presented on various topics of interest at local and statewide seminars.  He has served as a hearing officer and is on the arbitrator's list for the Michigan Agricultural Marketing and Bargaining Act, and is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association.  He is a member of the Bankruptcy Steering Committee for the Federal Bar Association, Western District of Michigan, and has served both as its President and Newsletter Editor.  Currently he is a Case Evaluator for the Ingham County Circuit Court.

Peter specializes in bankruptcy, commercial law, agricultural law and real estate.  He lives in DeWitt with his wife, Teresa, and their family.
