Public Act 213 of 2010 amended sections 1111 and 1113 of the Michigan Liquor Control Code of 1998. These amendments allow for the sale of spirits, mixed spirit drinks, beer and wine between the hours of 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and 2:00 a.m. on Monday. Local governments may prohibit Sunday morning sales by adopting a resolution and submitting it to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission by 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2010.
