Hubbard Employees Making a Difference in Lives of Children
Hubbard employees once again worked to help bring Christmas to Michigan children in foster care by taking part in Operation Good Cheer.Operation Good Cheer, which is celebrating its 40th year in operation, is an endeavor by Child and Family Services of Michigan, Inc. to make a difference during the holidays in the lives of infants, children, teenagers and adults with disabilities who reside in foster care in Michigan by providing donated gifts to be opened on Christmas morning. Hubbard Family Donates to Help Students Succeed
The Hubbard Law Firm has adopted a Reo Elementary First Grade Class for the 2011-2012 school year, donating Mead Primary Journals, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, notebooks, folders, hand sanitizer and other classroom supplies.
Many of Ms. Petersen's students are from families struggling to make ends meet. The majority of students attending Reo Elementary qualify for the National School Lunch Program. The Hubbard family saw this as their opportunity to make a big difference to a small group of kids.
This is the third summer in a row that Hubbard has donated classroom supplies for Lansing area children.
Hubbard Walks in Support of National Kidney Foundation
The Hubbard Law Firm partnered with The Riverdudes race team for the recent National Kidney Foundation of Michigan’s Greater Lansing Kidney Walk. Hubbard employees and their families took part in the Walk, which took place starting and ending at the Cooley Law School Stadium (home to the Lansing Lugnuts) on June 12, 2011. The Walk is in support of the programs and services provided by the National Kidney Foundation (“NKF”). NKF provides educational programs and research to help people prevent the disease before it starts, as well as numerous services to assist those who have the kidney disease. Hubbard Supports Komen Race for the Cure
Hubbard employees, family members and friends will join together this Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the state capitol to show support for the Komen Mid-Michigan Race for the Cure in support and recognition of breast cancer research, survivors and those who have lost their battles with the illness. This year more than 25 people will join the 5K walk/run and have raised hundreds of dollars in support of the cause.

Hubbard Law CEO Supports MDA Fundraiser

Hubbard Shareholder and CEO Michael Woodworth recently participated in the MDA Lock-Up in support of Jerry's Kids. During his stint in lock-up, Mike raised hundreds of dollars to assist MDA in helping area residents with muscular dystrophy.
